Proof, Fire and Table: A Dinner for Park Royal is a two-night fundraising dinner presented by Manufactory – the festival for interdisciplinary art and culture organised by local cultural platform Park Royal Design District – and Grymsdyke Farm, with chef Ajay Larr of RASA Dining, taking place at 57 Gorst Road on 6 and 7 November.
The dinner returns to 57 Gorst Road, the principal site of Manufactory 2026 and a developing cultural space for Park Royal, bringing artists, designers and audiences together within the industrial fabric of the district.
The dinner raises funds for the next phase of Proof, Fire and Table, a permanent communal bread oven created by Grymsdyke Farm, the design facility founded by designer and educator Dr Guan Lee, for the inaugural edition of Manufactory, with its Park Royal iteration designed and built by Grainge Rider Architects. Developed out of Grymsdyke Farm’s 2026 Reading Design Summer School, Proof, Fire & Table, the oven is conceived as a piece of shared infrastructure for Park Royal: a place for cooking, gathering and exchange. Funds raised will help establish the oven and its future public programme as a lasting, accessible resource, bringing artists, designers and researchers into conversation with the district’s food producers, manufacturers, businesses and communities through shared meals, workshops, experimentation and exchange.
For the occasion, Ajay Larr of RASA Dining has developed a five-course menu in response to Park Royal, drawing on the district’s industrial histories, creative communities and Middle Eastern food cultures. Ajay studied Architecture at the Royal College of Art under Guan Lee and today works across architecture and food. Reflecting Manufactory’s interest in embedded practice, the dinner draws on local production, industrial materials and processes alongside cooking and the act of gathering around a table.
RASA takes its name from the Sanskrit for ‘distillation of flavour’, with Ajay approaching food as a form of connection and care.
Tickets are £65 and include a five-course menu, a selection of dishes to begin and a parting treat. Wines selected and sourced by neighbouring distillery Maison Miles to accompany the menu will be available to purchase on the night.
