Park royal
design district

Park Royal, located in north-West London, is one of the largest industrial estates in the UK, now home to over 400 studios of artists, makers, designers, photographers, filmmakers & musicians.

Park Royal Design District (PRDD) is a nonprofit platform for interdisciplinary creativity set within London’s largest industrial district.

The organisation delivers a year-round cultural programme, culminating in a September festival. It brings together artists, performers, makers, designers and producers working across disciplines — from within Park Royal and beyond — foregrounding the district as a primary site for experiencing leading and emerging interdisciplinary practices in London, embedded within this unique industrial landscape.

The programme presents exhibitions, interventions and performances alongside studio tours, talks and participatory events, inviting audiences into processes that are often unseen. It foregrounds making as both a cultural and economic force, shaped by and integral to the wider city.

Functioning as both a platform and a laboratory, PRDD creates space for practitioners to test ideas, explore materials and systems, and engage directly with audiences. It supports both established and emerging voices, presenting work that reflects the dynamism and complexity of contemporary interdisciplinary practice.
