PUBLIC ART — 11 Million Dots by Rafael El Baz

This new work on the façade of the LHR21 data centre, was created from over 120 audio recordings that the artist Rafael el Baz collected from the Park Royal community.
Inspired by the ephemeral nature of sound, he translated those recordings into binary code and audio waveforms, manipulating them to create forms that evoke microchips, maps and city landscapes. Visitors to the park will find QR codes directing them to the accompanying website where they can experience the soundscapes that inspired the work.

Textile designer Yang Yumeng and AI researcher Louis Chen at Imperial College London work collaboratively to integrate textile design with Quantum X AI.

This workshop not only teaches participants the fundamentals of textile winding, but also introduces the exciting synergy between coding, artificial intelligence, and textile design.

A different look at the economy in the context of ecological crisis. Pati Starzykowski will be leading a one day workshop inviting you to bring your own seeds and swap them for a Park Royal Ecological Clay Obligation (ECO). Or, if you don't bring your own seeds you can mint two new ECOs, of which one will be deposited with the artist and the other one you will take with you with an obligation to plant them.
