The fetish for objects led me in the first place to the making of art so to create stuff for myself, stuff able to satisfy my visual needs.
Since young I have always given great importance to material things, toys for instance: they had to respond to particular features in order to be taken into consideration.
The objects I choose become for me more than simple objects but existing living presences.
Not long ago mid century furniture started existing alongside my first artistic practice to the point of taking over it.
Sofas, lounge chairs, lamps and tables... these happened to become my toys just 20 years later.
