SEE & EXPERIENCE

EXHIBITIONS, DEMOS & TOURS

Visit several exhibitions, demo sessions and tours, exploring the intersection of modern technologies and traditional craft.

ARTISANAL INTELLIGENCE

A woman with long dark hair and a blue shirt looking at the camera, illuminated by a blue circular light above, with a red background and a bright white light source. Text in the bottom right reads 'Sunday Light.'

Technology and AI meets art and craft.

Students from Imperial College London have been working with Park Royal makers to explore how new ideas can reinvigorate ancient crafts and, vice versa, how new technologies can draw inspiration from the past.

Rather than a completed showcase, the exhibition is deliberately designed around the spirit of research and development, with a mixture of some finished works, some in progress, some failure and some success. Above all the exhibition represents the collaboration between engineers and artists, in discovery of new and innovative ways of working.
