Launch: Dako Darkroom

Celebrate the opening of Dako Darkroom with an afternoon of photograms, open studio and drinks in Acton.

Join Dako Darkroom on 30 April for the launch of their new space, located inside Klatch Studio, dedicated to analogue photography, experimentation and learning. Founded by Leanne Wiggers and Shou-An Chiang, the space offers an environment for exploring darkroom practices — from traditional printing to more experimental approaches — while building a community around analogue image-making.

The afternoon will begin with an open studio from 2–5pm, offering a chance to visit the darkroom, see the space and take part in making photogram prints, with materials and equipment available. From 5–7pm, join for drinks to mark the opening and meet others working across photography and related practices.

Whether new to the darkroom or already working with analogue processes, all are welcome.
